Contract Metal Worker in Porto, Portugal



A reputable construction company in Porto, Portugal is seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in metal fabrication and be able to work with various types of metals, such as steel, aluminum, and copper. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install metal structures according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and cut metal materials using hand tools or machinery
- Weld, solder or rivet pieces together to form the desired structure
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Collaborate with other team members and communicate any issues or concerns that may arise during projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Metal Worker
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with various types of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to use hand tools and machinery safely and accurately
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Biometric passport or the ability to obtain one for international travel

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
