A metal worker is responsible for shaping, cutting, and assembling metal pieces to create a variety of structures and products. They may work with materials such as steel, aluminum, or iron to produce items such as machinery parts, building frames, or decorative pieces. The ideal candidate should have experience in using tools such as saws, drills, and welders to manipulate metal pieces. They should also possess the knowledge of different welding techniques and be able to read technical drawings and blueprints. Physical strength and dexterity are essential in this role as metal workers often have to lift heavy materials and work in awkward positions. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail are also important qualities for a successful metal worker. This position requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The salary for this role is 1600$ per month without accommodation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and be based in Porto, Portugal.
