Contract Metal Worker

We are a metalworking company in Porto looking for a skilled and motivated Metal Worker to join our team on a contract basis. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and equipment, as well as operating various machinery and tools.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications
- Repair damaged metal equipment using appropriate welding techniques
- Operate machinery such as shears, presses, drills, and grinders to cut, shape, and smooth metal pieces
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Prior experience in metalworking or related field preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques and tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Salary:
Starting salary for this contract position is $1000 per month.

This job is located in Porto, Portugal.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. The contract may be extended based on performance.
