Part-Time Preservation Architect in Porto


We are searching for a skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team part-time in Porto. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city. This position requires at least 5 years of experience in the field and a deep understanding of architectural conservation principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-site assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and strategies based on historical research and analysis
- Collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure preservation projects are completed successfully
- Utilizing specialized techniques and materials to repair and restore historic structures
- Conducting regular inspections of preserved buildings to monitor their condition
- Maintaining accurate records of all preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of architectural conservation principles, materials, and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Historic Preservation or a related field
- Experience working on preservation projects in Porto or other European cities
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and historic preservation laws
- Familiarity with computer-assisted design software

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This position is based in the beautiful city of Porto, known for its rich history and stunning architecture. The candidate must be able to work from our office in Porto without accommodation provided.
