Job Title: Industrial Architect for Manufacturing Company in Porto, Portugal

We are a leading manufacturing company in Porto, Portugal looking for an experienced Industrial Architect to join our team. As an Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient factory layouts and structures that optimize production processes and maximize space utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand project requirements and develop design solutions that meet functional needs while adhering to safety standards
- Create detailed drawings, models, and renderings using specialized software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing facilities for potential renovations or new construction
- Analyze workflow processes and identify opportunities for improvement through layout changes or equipment upgrades
- Research new materials, technologies, and building methods to incorporate into design plans
- Oversee the construction of projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with design specifications and local building codes
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Industrial Architect in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar software
- Strong understanding of industrial building codes and regulations
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
