Contract Accountant
Location: Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Porto. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations and procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and hold a degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and procedures
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial data

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Prior experience working on contract jobs preferred
