Job Title: Executive Chef - Part Time


We are currently hiring for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Porto. This is a part-time position that offers a competitive salary of 1000$. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and managing a team of kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:
- Create and update menu items according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling, cooking techniques, and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:
While previous experience is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who are passionate about the culinary industry. Our ideal candidate will also have:

- A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
- Experience working in a fine dining establishment
- Familiarity with Portuguese cuisine
- Fluency in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
