Radio Technician



As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment. You will work with a variety of communication systems, including two-way radios, satellite systems, and broadcast equipment. This position is based in Porto and offers a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair radio equipment according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with radio systems
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Keep detailed records of work performed and report any issues to the supervisor
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete larger projects or installations
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in radio technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of radio equipment and systems
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and circuitry
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor as needed
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Preferences:
- Experience working with two-way radios, satellite systems, or broadcast equipment
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry
- Knowledge of FCC regulations
- Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken)
