Radio Technician

We are a reputable radio station located in the vibrant city of Porto, looking for an experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment used in our broadcasting operations. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1100$ per month, along with accommodation provided. We also offer free visa and ticket for international candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and audio consoles
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Install new equipment and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements when needed
- Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities
- Train other staff members on proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry advancements in radio broadcasting

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of radio broadcasting equipment and technology
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to work with team members and vendors
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience working with digital audio systems
- Knowledge of FCC regulations
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
