Contract Construction Manager
City: Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects in Porto, Portugal. As a Contract Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to scheduling and overseeing on-site work. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders
- Oversee the selection of contractors and subcontractors for each project
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities
- Monitor progress against project plans and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that may arise
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues or delays
- Manage change orders and negotiate prices with contractors as needed
- Prepare progress reports for clients or upper management as required

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or related role
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, architects, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This is a full-time position located in Porto, Portugal. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
