Crane Operator - Porto, Portugal (Contract)


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Porto, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials or equipment on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret work orders to determine equipment needed and tasks to be performed
- Inspect crane for any defects or malfunctions before and after each use
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while operating the crane
- Communicate with site supervisor and other crew members to coordinate lifts and movements of materials or equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including hours worked, materials lifted, and any incidents or accidents that occur

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a crane operator
- Valid biometric passport preferred
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operations
- Physically fit with the ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift heavy objects as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
