Land Surveyor Assistant


We are hiring a Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As an assistant, you will work alongside experienced surveyors to help collect and analyze data for various land surveying projects. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month and includes accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors in conducting field surveys and collecting data using various tools and equipment
- Help prepare accurate maps, charts, and reports based on collected data
- Utilize computer software to assist with data analysis and mapping
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient project completion
- Maintain and organize survey equipment and supplies
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in the field
- Travel to different locations as required for project assignments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferably with some coursework in geography, mathematics, or engineering)
- Previous experience as a land surveyor or assistant is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in using surveying tools such as GPS receivers, total stations, and levels
- Familiarity with computer software for data analysis and mapping (AutoCAD, GIS)
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
