Job Title: Junior Land Surveyor
We are hiring a Junior Land Surveyor to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data on land features, boundaries, and topography using specialized equipment and software. You will work closely with experienced surveyors to assist in conducting surveys and producing accurate maps and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting field surveys using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Collect data on land features, boundaries, and topography
- Use software to process and analyze survey data
- Assist in preparing maps, charts, and reports based on survey findings
- Communicate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
- Follow safety procedures while working on job sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and equipment
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data
- Good communication skills for working with team members and clients
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1400 per month. Salary may increase based on performance.
Contract:
This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.
Experience:
No prior experience is required for this role. We are willing to train the right candidate.
