English Tutor

As an English Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality language instruction to students in Porto. Your main goal will be to help students improve their English language skills and achieve their learning objectives. You will work closely with students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and provide personalized lessons tailored to their individual needs.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting one-on-one or group tutoring sessions with students
- Assessing students' current level of English proficiency and developing individualized lesson plans
- Teaching grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and other language skills in an engaging and interactive manner
- Providing feedback and support to help students improve their language skills
- Encouraging students to practice speaking and writing in English outside of the classroom
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting lesson plans as needed
- Communicating with parents or guardians about student performance and progress
- Collaborating with other tutors or teachers to share ideas and resources

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching/tutoring English as a second language
- Native-level proficiency in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and helping others learn
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Flexibility in working with different age groups
- Valid visa/work permit for Portugal (visa sponsorship available)

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: Porto, Portugal. This position is based in Porto, but may require occasional travel within the city.
