Handyman for Property Maintenance in Porto, Portugal



We are hiring a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our property maintenance team in Porto, Portugal. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to keep our properties in excellent condition. Your duties will include repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as fixing any structural or cosmetic issues.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in general maintenance and possess a wide range of handyman skills. You must also have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. A good eye for detail and a proactive attitude are also essential.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs
- Repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems as needed
- Perform general carpentry work such as installing shelves or repairing cabinets
- Patch walls, paint surfaces, and perform other cosmetic repairs
- Install appliances, fixtures, and equipment
- Maintain outdoor areas by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, etc.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role
- Knowledge of general maintenance techniques including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, etc.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Valid driver's license

Salary:
