Senior Computer Systems Analyst

As a Senior Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating complex computer systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Additionally, you will provide support and guidance to junior analysts and assist in the development of new systems.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Develop detailed technical specifications for new systems or enhancements
- Work closely with software developers to ensure that solutions are implemented correctly
- Test and troubleshoot systems before deployment
- Provide ongoing support for existing systems
- Train end-users on new or updated systems
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on complex projects
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Computer Systems Analyst
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively
- Experience working with different operating systems, databases, and programming languages
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Fluent English language skills

Location: Faro, Portugal (Visa sponsorship available)
Salary: $1500/month
