IT Manager


We are a fast-growing technology company based in Faro, seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage our IT department.

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's technology infrastructure. This includes maintaining and upgrading hardware and software systems, implementing security protocols, managing network administration, and providing technical support to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technology strategies and initiatives that align with our business goals
- Manage and maintain all hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, printers, and other devices
- Ensure the security of our network by implementing appropriate protocols and regularly monitoring for potential threats
- Oversee network administration tasks such as user account management, access controls, and data backups
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network issues
- Conduct regular equipment upgrades and replacements to ensure efficient operations
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement in our technology infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, networking principles, and security protocols
- Experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory management, virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V), and cloud computing (AWS or Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this position.
