Information Technology Manager

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's technology infrastructure and ensuring its smooth functioning. This includes managing a team of IT professionals, implementing and maintaining systems and processes, and staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of our systems
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, networks, and other technology systems
- Stay updated on emerging technology trends and make recommendations for improvements to enhance our company's operations
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions to meet those needs
- Manage budgets for IT equipment, software licenses, and other related expenses
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly and develop disaster recovery plans in case of system failures
- Monitor system performance to identify any issues or areas for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of computer systems, networks, security protocols, databases, software development processes
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: 1300$ per month

Location: Faro

Our preference is for a candidate with accommodation already located in or near Faro.
