Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator

We are a growing company in Faro, seeking a talented Network and Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our network and systems infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting network issues, implementing security measures, and managing server environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network and server systems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Maintain backup systems and ensure data recovery in case of emergencies
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to make recommendations for system improvements

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with security best practices and tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and external vendors

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this contract position. In addition, we provide opportunities for professional growth within our organization.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. Relocation assistance is not provided, so we prefer candidates who are already located in Faro or willing to relocate at their own expense.
