Computer Support Specialist

The Computer Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients with computer hardware, software, and network issues. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and configure new computer systems
- Perform routine maintenance on computer systems
- Upgrade existing systems as needed
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of all support requests and resolutions
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer or LogMeIn

Salary: $1000/month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Faro, Portugal

Contract job: This is a contract position for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Experience required: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is required.
