Back-End Developer (Contract) - Faro, Portugal


We are in need of a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Faro. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side code of our web applications. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of web development principles and experience with back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Java. As a Contract Back-End Developer, you will work closely with our Front-End Developers to ensure seamless integration between the server-side and client-side components of our applications. Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient and scalable code for server-side components of web applications
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers to integrate front-end code with back-end systems
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application performance by conducting regular testing and improvements
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Back-End Developer
- Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Java)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1800 USD/month (negotiable based on experience)
