DevOps Developer - Part Time (Faro, Portugal)


We are hiring a part-time DevOps Developer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in Faro, Portugal. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our company's software deployment processes and infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems through automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud-based infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Develop automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of infrastructure and applications
- Work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines into the software development process
- Troubleshoot issues related to production systems and provide timely resolutions
- Implement security measures to protect our systems from potential threats
- Monitor system performance and optimize as needed to ensure high availability and performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a DevOps role
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred)
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Working knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python or Ruby
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
