Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Faro. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex problems. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to create scalable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models for various applications
- Collaborate with data scientists to identify business problems and determine appropriate machine learning techniques
- Work with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into existing systems
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to optimize model performance
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning techniques and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related role
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and statistics
- Familiarity with distributed computing systems such as Hadoop or Spark
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques for text analysis
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure

This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month. We provide accommodation for our employees if needed. Applicants must have their own visa for working in Faro.
