Contract JAVA Developer - Faro, Portugal



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team in Faro, Portugal. As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software applications using JAVA technologies. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and enhance existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using JAVA technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
- Ensure software meets quality standards by conducting unit testing and participating in code reviews
- Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging technologies in the JAVA development field

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a JAVA Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles and design patterns
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Proficient in using JAVA frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Struts
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL queries
- Good understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable depending on experience)

Location: Faro, Portugal (local candidates preferred)

This is a contract position with the potential for extension or permanent employment based on performance.
