Junior PHP Developer

We are a fast-growing software company in Faro looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior PHP Developer to join our team. As a Junior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining web applications, websites, and other digital solutions using PHP and related frameworks. You should have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as experience with MySQL databases. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry-level position with potential for growth and development within the company. Salary is $1500 per month. Visa sponsorship may be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP
- Develop new features and maintain existing ones for web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Familiarity with MySQL databases and SQL queries
- Basic understanding of OOP concepts
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
