Contract QA Engineer - Faro, Portugal

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Faro, Portugal. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through testing and identifying any issues or bugs. You will work closely with the development team to understand project requirements and create test plans and cases to ensure thorough testing. This role is suitable for men who have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans, cases, and scripts based on project requirements
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Identify and report defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure high-quality code releases
- Participate in code reviews to provide input on potential areas of improvement
- Communicate test results and progress to project stakeholders
- Continuously learn about new testing methodologies and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software quality assurance/testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing as well as automated testing tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faro, Portugal

Note: This is a contract position with the possibility of extension. Preference will be given to male candidates due to accommodation arrangements.
