Information Security Analyst

We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's digital systems and data. This is a contract position that includes accommodation and visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect company systems and data
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious or unauthorized activity
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, and make necessary adjustments to our security measures
- Train employees on information security best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Previous experience in information security or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Experience with cloud computing security
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or Java

Salary: $900 per month
