Part-Time Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify trends and insights. You will work on a part-time basis in our office located in Faro, Portugal. We are looking for someone with experience in data analysis and proficiency in data analysis tools and software. As this is a part-time position, we are open to candidates who require visa sponsorship. The salary for this role is $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Analyze data using statistical methods and create visual representations
- Identify patterns and trends within the data
- Communicate findings and insights to the team
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs
- Review data quality and make necessary corrections
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in data analytics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large datasets
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data
- Excellent communication skills to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Analytics or related field
- Experience working with big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques
- Understanding of database management systems
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
