Software Tester



We are hiring a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our growing team in Faro. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they are released to the public. You will work closely with developers to understand project requirements and create test plans, as well as execute manual and automated tests to identify any issues or bugs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with Agile development process
- Experience writing test cases and creating test plans
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify bugs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project requirements
- Create test cases and test plans based on functional specifications
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and issues
- Record results, document defects, and track their resolution through to completion
- Work closely with development team to resolve issues identified during testing
- Communicate any issues or concerns found during testing to the appropriate team members
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss project progress and provide updates on testing status
