Job Title: Interpreter - Faro, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services in a variety of settings such as meetings, conferences, and workshops. Your main goal will be to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during meetings, conferences, and other events
- Ensure accurate and clear communication between all parties by interpreting spoken words accurately and maintaining cultural sensitivity
- Research terminology and prepare necessary materials prior to each event
- Maintain confidentiality of all information exchanged during interpretation
- Act as a cultural liaison between individuals from different cultures
- Coordinate with other interpreters if necessary to ensure smooth communication flow
- Act professionally at all times and adhere to ethical standards of the interpreting profession

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English and Portuguese
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a professional setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret accurately and quickly under pressure
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards cultural diversity
- Availability to work on a contract basis without accommodation provided by the company
- Possession of a biometric passport for international travel
