Facade Specialist

The Facade Specialist will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the exterior facades of buildings in Faro. The ideal candidate will have experience in facade engineering and a deep understanding of construction materials and techniques. They will also possess strong project management and communication skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing facade systems that meet aesthetic, functional, and safety requirements
- Conducting site inspections to assess the condition of existing facades and identifying necessary repairs or upgrades
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the integration of facade design with overall building design
- Creating detailed drawings and specifications for facade construction
- Overseeing the installation of new facades and ensuring compliance with design plans and industry standards
- Conducting quality control checks throughout the construction process to ensure high standards are met
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Providing technical support to resolve any issues that may arise during construction or maintenance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in facade engineering or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes related to facades
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant software programs for creating detailed drawings
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Ability to conduct site inspections and identify potential issues
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles is preferred

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
