Roofer Assistant

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Roofer Assistant to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Roofer Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Roofers to assist in the installation and repair of roofs for residential and commercial buildings.

In this role, you will be responsible for helping with the preparation of job sites, carrying materials, and assisting in the installation of roofing materials. You will also be expected to help clean up job sites and maintain tools and equipment.

This is a full-time position that requires physical strength and stamina as well as the ability to work at heights. Previous experience in roofing is not required, but a willingness to learn and work hard is essential. We welcome applicants of all genders for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Roofers in preparing job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
- Carry materials such as shingles, tiles, and tar paper to designated areas
- Help Roofers with the installation of roofing materials such as shingles or tiles
- Clean up job sites by removing debris and disposing of waste properly
- Maintain tools and equipment used on job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks

Requirements:
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy materials
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced Roofers
- Attention to detail for ensuring proper installation of roofing materials
- Good communication skills for working effectively with team members
