A reputable painting company in Faro is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for painting the interior and exterior of residential and commercial buildings. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, and sanding
- Choose the appropriate paint or mix paints to achieve desired color
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Ensure smooth and even coverage without drips or streaks
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or spills
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter in residential and commercial settings
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and tools
- Attention to detail with an eye for color matching
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to take direction from clients or project managers

Preferred qualifications:
- Formal training in painting techniques or certification as a painter
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Portuguese (or other languages)
- Experience working with different types of surfaces (e.g. wood, metal, concrete)
- Familiarity with safety protocols for handling paints and chemicals
