Formworker (Contract Position)
Location: Faro, Portugal


A reputable construction company in Faro is seeking experienced and entry-level Formworkers to join our team on a contract basis. As a Formworker, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by building and installing forms that hold concrete in place for various structures. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine form dimensions and layouts
- Measure, cut, and assemble wooden or metal forms according to specifications
- Install forms in designated locations using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Align forms properly to ensure accuracy of the final structure
- Pour, spread, and level concrete within the forms using appropriate techniques
- Remove forms once concrete has cured and clean up worksite as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Formworker or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of different types of form materials and their uses
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have your own hand tools
