Turner - Metal Machinist
Location: Faro, Portugal


We are in need of a skilled Turner to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a metal machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ and includes the added benefit of a free visa and ticket.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts
- Set up and operate manual and computer-controlled machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed for different materials or production runs
- Maintain machines by performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating parts
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make any necessary corrections or adjustments

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Turner or metal machinist is required
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of G-code programming is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision tools
- Physical dexterity and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical training in machining or related field is preferred.
