Metal Fabricator

Our company in Faro is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team on a contract basis. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for using various tools and techniques to fabricate metal parts and structures according to specifications. This role requires someone with experience in metalworking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal parts using measuring tools.
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using various hand and power tools.
- Weld or solder components together to assemble fabricated products.
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials as needed.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role.
- Proficiency in working with various metalworking tools such as saws, grinders, drills, etc.
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical dexterity and strength for handling heavy materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary:
We offer a salary of 1600$ per month for this contract job. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract. Our company is open to providing visa sponsorship for qualified candidates if needed.
