Entry-Level Metal Worker in Faro, Portugal
We are hiring an entry-level Metal Worker to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment according to blueprints and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience in the metalworking industry.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use specialized tools and equipment to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Measure and mark metal sheets to ensure accurate cuts
- Operate machinery such as lathes, drills, grinders, and saws
- Assemble metal components using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in metalworking or vocational training is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math and measuring tools (ruler, calipers)
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques on the job
Salary:
