Commercial Architect



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Faro. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and hotels. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions that meet their business objectives while adhering to all building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial building design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a contract position with accommodation provided, along with a free visa and ticket.

As a Commercial Architect, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and goals for their commercial building project
- Developing design concepts and presenting them to clients for approval
- Creating detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for construction
- Ensuring all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations
- Working closely with construction teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure designs are being followed correctly
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial architecture design
- Strong understanding of commercial building codes and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience working on international projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Fluency in Portuguese
