Experienced Excavator Operator



We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Faro. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate excavator safely and efficiently according to job site and company regulations
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and maintain daily logs
- Dig trenches, foundations, backfill and level terrain as needed
- Load trucks with materials for transportation
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members to complete tasks accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Experience operating other heavy machinery is a plus
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
