Excavator Operator

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Faro. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, grade, and level earth or other materials as needed for construction projects. You must have previous experience operating excavators and possess a valid operator's license. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator according to project specifications and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials using the excavator
- Manage excavation work on construction sites, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Communicate with project managers and team members to coordinate work

Requirements:
- Valid operator's license for heavy equipment such as an excavator
- At least 2 years of experience working as an excavator operator
- Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
- Proficient in safely operating various types of heavy machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labor when needed

Preferred:
- Experience working on construction sites or in a similar field
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
