Junior Accountant


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Faro. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, analyzing and reconciling accounts, and providing support to senior accountants. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide support to senior accountants as needed
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: 1700$ per month
Location: Faro, Portugal
