Entry-Level Truck Driver


We are seeking an entry-level truck driver to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials locally and long-distance. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and schedule deliveries to ensure timely arrival at destinations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, expenses, and mileage
- Inspect truck before and after trips, reporting any issues or damages to the supervisor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other drivers on the road
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for large trucks (class A or B)
- Clean driving record without any major violations or accidents
- Ability to pass drug/alcohol tests as required by law and company policy
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo as needed
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
