Restaurant Manager
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant located in Faro, Portugal. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the restaurant including staffing, customer service, inventory management, and financial performance
- Ensure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Train and supervise staff to maintain high levels of customer service and ensure smooth operations
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and satisfaction of customers
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and resolve any issues that may arise
- Create schedules for staff based on business needs while keeping labor costs within budget
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have a valid work permit or visa for Portugal
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.
