Part-Time Executive Chef


We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis in Faro, Portugal. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that are innovative, fresh, and reflective of local and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Manage inventory and ordering of food supplies to ensure efficient use of resources
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special event menus
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create unique dishes that appeal to a diverse clientele
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food cost control methods
- Biometric passport or eligibility to work in Portugal required
Salary: $900 per month (part-time)
