Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloging, shelving, and maintaining inventory
- Provide reference services to patrons by assisting them with finding resources and conducting research
- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote literacy and the use of the library's resources
- Assist patrons in using library technology such as computers, printers, and online databases
- Create displays and exhibits to showcase new acquisitions or promote specific themes
- Plan and conduct educational workshops or classes on various topics related to literature or research techniques
- Collaborate with other librarians and staff members to ensure efficient operations of the library
- Stay updated on current trends in literature, technology, and library services through professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Prior experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using library technology including online databases and cataloging systems
- Passion for literature and promoting literacy within the community
