Instrument Technician
The Instrument Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes but is not limited to valves, meters, gauges, and control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This position is based in Faro and offers a salary of 1600$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on all instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with instruments
- Calibrate instruments as needed to ensure accuracy
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in instrument technology
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in industrial settings
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with computerized systems for instrument control
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience working with different types of valves, meters, gauges, etc.
- Must have a valid visa for working in Faro
