Instrument Technician


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Instrument Technician to join our team in Faro. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair instruments and control systems according to technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding instrument-related issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrumentation technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation principles
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for installation, maintenance, and repair work
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Physically fit to perform duties such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, etc.
- Flexibility to work on-call shifts if necessary
