Crane Operator



As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy machinery and materials at construction sites in the city of Faro. This role requires physical stamina, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Safely lift and move heavy materials and equipment according to project specifications
- Communicate with ground crew to ensure safe movement of materials
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted and moved

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a crane operator is preferred but not required
- Must have a valid crane operator certification or license
- Physical strength and stamina to perform repetitive tasks in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with ground crew
