Waiter/Waitress – Seasonal, Faro, Portugal


We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a popular restaurant in Faro, Portugal. As a seasonal employee, you will have the opportunity to work during the peak tourism season and experience the beautiful city of Faro. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people from different cultures and has a passion for providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders in a timely and friendly manner
- Provide recommendations and answer any questions about menu items
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to customers following proper etiquette
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables, replenish supplies, and help with general cleaning duties
- Process payments using POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
