Loader Operator - Faro, Portugal


We are in need of an experienced Loader Operator to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load and unload materials onto trucks or other vehicles. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of loaders to load and unload materials such as gravel, sand, or construction debris onto trucks or other vehicles
- Ensure proper weight distribution on the vehicle to prevent overloading
- Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Communicate with truck drivers and other team members to coordinate loading processes
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating loaders in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in operating different types of loaders and their attachments (e.g. buckets, forks)
- Ability to read and understand load charts and follow instructions
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects regularly
- Attention to detail and ability to work safely in fast-paced environments
